Gurbani on Devi/Devte (deities)...
In this section, Bhai Kahn Singh Ji compare the statements made by the Hindu brother about Sikhs worshipping Devi/Devte [Hindu gods/goddesses/deities] with what Guru Maharaj actually teaches us in Gurbani. They also feature the writings of Bhai Gurdas Ji, Bhai Nand Laal Ji, among many other historically relevant accounts which can help us develop a proper understanding on this topic. This is one of the most longest sections. The following sections will be significantly shorter. If you wish to read further about the topic of Devi then please read Bhai Veer Singh Ji's Devi Poojan Parrthaal. We have to also add a disclaimer that there is an active social media campaign of bots and Hindu nationalists which spend time attempting to bury this translation and don't wish for the truth to be spread. Please avoid generalized statements that are intended to create doubt in your mind. The best way to escape their deceptive traps is to read the Gurbani presented here and also, share with family and friends who have fallen victim to these doubt creating speaking points.

You (Hindu's) worship deities/gods & goddesses as the ones who can bless with a boon/blessing. They have so many subtleties/differences developed between them that no Hindu scholar can explain how many gods and goddesses there are. In the Sikh Dharam, these gods and godesses are seen in this manner:
ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੇ ਦੇਵੀ ਸਭਿ ਦੇਵਾ ॥
Maa-iaa Mohae Dhaevee Sabh[i] Dhaevaa
Maya has enticed all the goddesses and gods
OR
Maya - the Illusionary goddess has enticed all the deities

-

Dhar Maz-hab-ae-Maa-Gair-Parasthee na Kuna[n]dh
In our tradition, we never bow our heads in front of others [ie worship of anything 2nd to Vaheguru]

Bhai Gurdhaas Ji teach the Gursikhs to worship the Unequaled (Vaheguru) and condemn the worship of the Devi-Devtae:
ਜੈਸੇ ਪਤਿਬ੍ਰਤਾ ਪਰ ਪੁਰਖੈ ਨ ਦੇਖਯੋ ਚਾਹੈ
Jaisae Path[i]brathaa Par Purkhai na Dhaekhyo Chaahai
Just like a devoted wife does not look at another man nor desires another man..
Pooran Path[i]brathaa Ko Path[i] Hee Mae[n] Dhhyaan Hai
In complete devotion to Their Husband, they only have Their Husband in Their Mind
Sar Sarithaa Samudhr Chaathrik na Chaahai Kaahoo[n]
Just like the Chaathrik (rainbird) does not desire a pond, river, ocean
Aas Ghan Boo[n]dh Preeyaa Preeyaa Gun Gaan Hai
It is hopeful for the drop that comes from the Beloved cloud and sings songs of it...
Dhinkar Or Bhor Chaahath nahee[n] Chakor
The Chakor-bird does not want the Sun nor the day
Man Bach Karam Him-kar Preeyaa Praan Hai
Through thoughts, words, and actions - the Chakor sees the Moon as its Beloved Breaths...
Thaisae Gursikh Aan Dhaev Saev Rahith Pai Sahaj Subhaav na Avgyaa Abhimaan Hai

They live in Sehaj (state of peace amongst the world) and do not disrespect nor carries arrogance towards others...

They will have to face getting struck with ‘the staff of death’ and their life in this world is cursed...
(Bhai Gurdhaas Ji’s Kabith)
-
Beloved Hindu Ji! Our internal worship and ways of outwards worship are not the same. In your tradition, you use Chandan/Sandalwood, Kungoo/Saffron, conduct Aarthee with offerings but in our religion - worship is done in the following way:
ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰੀ ਚਨਣਾਠੀਆ ਜੇ ਮਨੁ ਉਰਸਾ ਹੋਇ ॥
Thaeraa naam[u] Karee ChanaNaaTteeaa Jae Man[u] Ursaa Ho-i
I see Your Name as the Sandalwood, I turn my mind into a stone...
[People take Sandalwood and grind it into a paste using a stone]
KarNee Ku[n]goo Jae Ralai Ghat A[n]thar[i] Poojaa Ho-i
I make my good actions into the Saffron, I worship within my heart...
Poojaa Keechai naam[u] Dhhiaaee-ai Bin[u] naavai Pooj na Ho-i; Rahaa-o[u];
Worship in this way - Focus on the Naam, Without the Name of Vaheguru Ji - worship cannot happen.
Baahar[i] Dhaev Pakhaaleeah[i] Jae Man[u] Dhhovai Ko-i
If someone washes their heart like how they washed the idols...
Joott[i] Lahai Jee-o[u] Maajeeai Mokh Pa-iaaNaa Ho-i
then they would lose their impurity, their soul would be cleaned, they reach liberation...
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji in Raag Gooraree, Ang 489)
-

they will receive punishment in the court of Vaheguru...

Hindu: You don’t worship the Devi-Devte and say it is condemned in Gurmat but the Tenth Guru write about the Devi worship, as per this bachan from Bachithar Naatak:
ਮਹਾਕਾਲ ਕਾਲਿਕਾ ਅਰਾਧੀ ॥੨॥
Mahaakaal Kaalikaa Araadhhee
(6th Adhiyaye)
-
It is perceived that they wrote ‘Cha[n]dee Charithar’ in praise of Dhurgaa and explained the greatness of reading ‘Chandee Charithar’, as per:
ਜਾਹਿ ਨਮਿਤ ਪੜੈ ਸੁਨਹੈ ਨਰ
Jaah[i] namith Parrhai Sun-hai nar
When humans read in offering to you
So nischai Kar[i] Thaah[i] Dha-aee Hai
So have conviction that she will indeed give...
-
Phaer na Joonee Aaiaa Jin Aeh Gaa-iaa
Those who sing Chandi Di Vaar will not come into rebirth again...
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobi[n]dh Singh Ji in Cha[n]dhee Dhee Vaar)
-
Sikh: Oh Beloved Hindu Brother! Guru Sahib refer to Akaal Purakh as within all 3 genders [male, female, neutral], as we see Vaheguru Ji referred to in a female context as well:
ਨਮੋ ਪਰਮ ਗਿਆਤਾ ॥ ਨਮੋ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਤਾ ॥੫੨॥
namo Param Giaathaa; namo Lok Maathaa
Revering/bowing down to the Supreme Knower of All,
Revering/bowing down to the Mother of the World
(Jaap[u] Sahib)
-
Kaalikaa is not a separate goddess distinct from Akaal Purakh. If they were worshipping the Devi then ‘Dhwai Thae Aek Roop Hwai Gayo’ would be: ‘Thrai Thae Aek Roop Hwai Gayo’ and where it says: ‘Akaal Purakh Baach Is Keet Prath[i]’ would become ‘Akaal Ar Kaalikaa Baach’.
-
In order to convince you and leaving you without a doubt, we will show with 5 instances that worship of the Devi is condemned:
-
A) Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Maharaj have commanded their Sikhs:
ਬਿਨੁ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨ ਕਿਰਤਮ ਮਾਨੋ ॥
Bin[u] Karthaar na Kirtham Maano
Besides the Doer-Vaheguru, do not believe/worship the Created...
(Shabad Hazaarae, P.10vi)
-
In other words, not to worship any other thing/being but to worship Karthaar (the Doer-Vaheguru). And listen to what has been said in Chandi Di Vaar:
ਤੈ ਹੀ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਸਾਜਿ ਕੈ ਦੈਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸੁ ਕਰਾਇਆ ॥... ॥
Thai[n] Hee Dhurgaa Saaj[i] Kai Dhaithaa[n] Dhaa naas[u] Karaa-iaa
Vaheguru Ji - You have created Durga in order to destroy the demons...
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji)
-
From this it is proven that the One who created Durga was Karthaar-Vaheguru and Durga came from Vaheguru. Is it possible that Guru Ji gave a teaching to their Sikhs and you are actually against it and want it to mean something else? In other words, the Sikhs are told to worship the One Karthaar-Vaheguru but you want them to worship something else?
-
B) Guru Sahib make a promise:
ਤੁਮਹਿ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੋਈ ਅਵਰ ਨ ਧਿਆਊਂ ॥
Thumah[i] Chhaad[i] Koee Avar na Dhhiaaoo[n]
Besides You - Vaheguru Ji - I do not focus or think of another...
Jo Bar Chaaho[n] Su Thum Thae Paaoo[n]
What ever boon/blessing I desire, I ask from You(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji in Chaupai Sahib)
-
Ik Bin Dhoosar So na Chinaar
Besides the One, do not recognize a second...
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji in Shabad Hazaarae P.10)
-
Bhajo Su Aek namaay[n]; Ju Kaam Sarab Ttaamy[n]
Worship/Chant/Singh the One-Vaheguru ji’s Naam, The One that can help get all tasks done...
na Dhhyaan Aan Ko Dhharo[n] na naam Aan Uchro[n]
Do not focus/meditate/concentrate on another [i.e. deity]
Do not chant the name of another...
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji in Bachithar Naatak, 6th Adhiyaye)
-
Is it possible that Guru Sahib would turn away from their promise then begin to worship the Devi?
-
C) In traditional religious writings, the writer of the granth will begin their writing with the being who they worship in the Mangal (invocation). The religious scholars will refer to the Manglacharan (Begging invocation) to understand who the poet worships:
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
Ik Oa[n]-kaar SathiGurPrasaadh[i]
The One Formless Vaheguru Ji who give everyone Their Existence,
With the Blessings of SatGuru Sahib Ji
Ik Oa[n]-kaar Sree Vaahiguroo Jee Kee Fathah
The One Formless Vaheguru Ji who give everyone Their Existence,
All Victory belongs to Vaheguru Ji
-
These are the Manglacharan we find in the beginning of Guru Sahib’s Gurbani then how can it be understood that Guru Sahib worshipped the Devi?
-
D) Sikhs consider the 10 Sath-Guru’s to be One form. The Vision that Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji had is the same as Guru Gobind Singh Ji, as per Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s Bachans:
ਭਰਮੇ ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੇਵਾ ॥
Bharmae Sur[i] nar Dhaevee Dhaevaa
The deities (gods/goddesses), angels, and humans wander...
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji in Baavan Akhree, Ang 258)
-
Dhaeveeaa nahee Jaanai Maram
The goddesses/female deities don’t know the Secret/Mystery of Vaheguru Ji
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji in Raag Raam-kalee, Ang 894)
-
Mahaa Maaee Kee Poojaa Karai
If someone worships the Great Mother (Shakti worshippers)
nar Sai naaree Ho-i Aoutharai
They will be reborn as women...
Thoo Kaheeath Hee Aadh[i] Bhavaanee
You call her the Original Goddess Bhavani
Mukath[i] Kee Bareeaa Kahaa Chhapaanee
Where is she hiding when it comes to someone wanting to become liberated?(Dhan Bhagat NaamDev Ji in Raag Go[n]d, Ang 874)
-
And again, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji write themselves in Akaal Usthath:
ਚਰਨ ਸਰਨ ਜਿਹ ਬਸਤ ਭਵਾਨੀ ॥...॥
Charan Saran Jih Basath Bhavaanee
Bhavani falls to the Sanctuary of the Feet of Vaheguru Ji...
-
In other words, the Devi is the slave at the Feet of Akaal Purakh and Guru Sahib share the following Bachan about this as well:
ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਦਾਸੀ ਕਉ ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਅੰਧ ਅਗਿਆਨਾ ॥
Ttaakur[u] Chhod[i] Dhaasee Ko[u] Simrah[i] Manmukh A[n]dhh Agiaanaa
The Ignorant Man-mukh’s let go/Renounce the Master-Vaheguru Ji,
they remember Vaheguru Ji’s servant instead...
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji in Raag Bhairo[u], Ang 1138)
-
And that Devi which Guru Angad Dev Ji saw brooming the floors of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Darbar, how can it be that Master of Guruship turn back on the vision of their elders and write about worshipping the Devi in their writing?
-
E) Bhai Mani Singh Ji had been blessed with Amrit from Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji and learned the meanings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (at Damdama Sahib) - that same Bhai Sahib wrote ‘Giaan Rathnaavalee’ and write the following Manglacharan (invocation):
‘Vaheguru is the God of all gods/goddess, some people try to get the approval of a goddess, some try to get approval of Shivaa ’s, some try for Ganesh’s, some try for other deities, Guru’s Sikh worship the Sathi-naam from which all obstacles get destroyed and that is why the Manglacharan of Sathinaam[u] is being used in the beginning.’
-
If Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Divine Beloved was the devi then would Bhai Mani Singh write this way towards Guru Sahib’s Diving Beloved (Isht)? And beloved Hindu! What you have spoken about the greatness of the devi which Guru Sahib wrote, that was not Guru Sahib’s teaching but a translation which Guru Sahib did of Durga Sapathashthi from the Maarkanday Puraan which can be proven here:
ਸਤਸੈ ਕੀ ਕਥਾ ਯਹਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਭਈ ਹੈ ॥...॥
SathSai Kee Kathhaa Yah[i] Pooree Bha-aee Hai
This narration of 700 Saloks [i.e. Durga Sapta-shati] has been completely [translated]
(Cha[n]dee Charithar Ukath[i])
-
In actuality, the original Sanskrit text is written in great depth and detail. It can be summarized as so:
‘The Devi says that whoever listens and recites these praises of me, they will destroy their suffering, sins, poverty etc. The enemy, thief, king, weapons and fire... the fear of all these will go away. In the battle, the objective of battle will be reached, the enemies die, liberation is reached, the lineage will grow, will not be afflicted by eclipses, demons, ghosts, and spirits will be destroyed. You will be freed when trapped between fire, thieves, enemies, lions, and war elephants. You will be saved if you are sentenced to death by kings or imprisoned, whether caught up in the ocean during a storm, among other pains.
(Durga Sapathashathi, Adhiyaye 12, Salok 1-29)
-
The summary of that is:
ਜਾਹਿ ਨਮਿਤ ਪੜੈ ਸੁਨਹੈ ਨਰ
Jaah[i] namith Parrhai Sun-hai nar
When humans read in offering to you...
Phaer na Joonee Aaiaa Jin Aeh Gaa-iaa
Those who sing Chandi Di Vaar will not come into rebirth again...
-
Hindu: In the Ardaas, Sikhs read the following daily:
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਭਗੌਤੀ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੈ...॥
Prithham Bhagauthee Simar Kai
First, remembering Bhagauthee...
(Chandi Di Vaar 1st Chhand - also featured in Ardaas)
-
It clearly proves that there is worship of the Devi in the Khalsa religion. In reality, ‘Bhagauthee’ is from the Sanskrit word: ‘Bhagvathee’ which means the goddess. Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrote poetry in Farsi script and so, Bhagvathee and Bhagauthee would be read the same way. The Gurmukhi scribes did not understand the correct paath and wrote down Bhagauthee instead of Bhagvathee.
-
Sikh: The word Bhagauthee has already been discussed in Gurmath[i] Sudhhaakar. After reading that, you will lose all doubts but we will ask four questions which will convince you:
-
A) In Chandi Di Vaar, you will find:
ਲਈ ਭਗੌਤੀ ਦੁਰਗ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਵਰਜਾਗਨ ਭਾਰੀ ॥
La-aee Bhagauthee Dhurgh Shaah Varjaagan Bhaaree
Durga took the Bhagauthee/Sword in her hand and waged a great war...
Laaee Raajae Su[n]bh noo[n] Rath Pee-ae Piaaree
She struck [Bhagauthee/Sword] against the demon king Sumbh, and told the sword to drink the blood
-
In this instance, did Durga grab the goddess Bhagvathee and smash her over the head of the demon king Sumbh and did she then drink his blood?B) Did Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji also use Perso-Arabic script to write down their Shabads which Bhai Gurdhaas Ji mistakenly wrote incorrectly? Look! From Sri Sukhmani Sahib:
ਭਗਉਤੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਾ ਰੰਗੁ ॥
Bhagouthee Bhag-wa[n]th Bhagath[i] Kaa Ra[n]g[u]The True Bhagouthee [Devotee of the Devi/Goddess] has been dyed in the Divine Colours of worship for the Bhag-wanth Vaheguru Ji[Bhag refers to the Feminine, -wanth refers to the One who holds it - i.e. the One who is the Master of Maya]
Sagal Thiaagai Dhusat Kaa Sa[n]g[u]...
They let go of associating with the cruel people...
Saadhh-Sa[n]g[i] Paapaa Mal[u] Khovai
In the Saadhh-Sangat, the dirt/impurity of sins is lost
This[u] Bhagouthee Kee Math[i] Ootham Hovai...
This Bhagouthee have the highest way of thinking...
Har[i] Kae Charan Hirdhai Basaavai
Keeping Vaheguru Ji’s Feet within Their Heart...
naanak Aisaa Bhagouthee Bhagva[n]th Ko[u] Paavai
Guru Sahib:Such a Bhagouthee - pleases Bhagwant Vaheguru Ji (as explained above)
(Ang 274)

Why sir, is this Bhagauthee not the Bhagvathee you mentioned? Is the word feminine or masculine?
-
C) In Bhagauthee Sthothar and Bhai Gurdhaas Ji’s writings it is written:
ਨਮੋ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗੌਤੀ ਬਢੈਲੀ ਸਰੋਹੀ ॥
Namo Sree Bhagauthee, Badtailee Sarohee
Revering/Bowing to the Sharp Sarohee/type of Sword
-
... naao[u] Bhagauthee Loh[u] Gharraayaa
Carrying the Name Bhagauthee and Shaped from Metal
(Bhai Gurdhaas Ji’s 25th Vaar)

Can you use the word Baadt [meaning sharp or cutting] to apply to the Devi? And is she carved from metal? My beloved Hindu Ji! In Dhabisthaan-i-Mazaahab, the author writes about an eyewitness account about the Devi, from which we can understand the nature of how Gursikhs treated the devi, listen carefully: Guru Hargobind Ji reached Keerath-pur [Sahib], which was the capital of Raja Tara Chand. The people there were idol worshippers. At the top of the mountain was a temple for Naina Devi. Many locals came to worship here. There was a Sikh by the name of Bhairo who reach the temple and cut off the nose of the Naina Devi Idol. News of this spread everywhere, the hill kings came to Guru Sahib and complained about the Sikh. Guru Sahib had summoned the Sikh named Bhairo to come and meet the kings. The Sikh had told the kings to ask the Devi who cut her nose off. The kings responded to him angrily: You Fool! Can the Devi speak? Bhairo laughed if the Devi does not speak and cannot protect her own limbs then what good will you expect [from worshipping her]? After hearing this, the hill kings became quiet.
From the above mentioned account, it is reasonable to understand that we should speak to our fellow Sikh brothers/sisters about the Devi:
Oh Beloved ones who walk on the Path of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj! First recognize who the Devi is and what good did she do for this world? We can only understand the following from the Puraan’s: she was the daughter of the Himalayas, was married to Shiv, and so her name was Parvathee, Girjaa, Shiva among others. She waged a war against the Demons to help the Devte and she gave the throne of the angels to Indra. Indra is that devta who is the one who watches the dances and playing of the Apaschara and spends his time in leisure. We can find out from the Purana’s that Indra sends promiscuous women to interrupt the spiritual hardship (Thap/Thapasiya) of many Rishi’s (sages) and Indra commits adultery with the wives of the Rishi’s (sages). An example of this is the story of Ahilyaa. By helping someone who participates in sexual misconduct and bad actions, did the Devi do good for the world? Did Indra improve the world after achieving his reign?

The stories attached to the places called Naina Devi and Jwala Mukhi are as follows: the King Daksh had carried out a Yag/Fire Sacrifice and his daughter (Sathee) showed up uninvited. She saw that her husband was being disrespected and so, she got angry and jumped into the Havan (ritual fire). Upon hearing this, Shiv Ji came and suddenly picked up Sathee’s burning body upon his trisool (trident). At this time, Sathee’s body spread all across different places and became used for worship. Naina Devi is the place where her eyes fell and Jwala Mukhi is where her tongue fell. There are many other places attached to other parts of her body.
-
From these stories, we learn that a woman can be skilled at the art of war and that a woman should respect her husband more than her own breaths. There is no doubt that this is a good teaching but is there anything else which is helpful that we get from this?
-
Some people attempt to rationalize this by stating that they don’t worship the daughter of the Himalaya’s also known as the eight armed one. Instead they worship the Shakti/Power of Akaal Purakh Vaheguru. We pose a doubt towards them: Is Akaal Purakh’s Shakti separate from them or not separate? Is it inanimate/dead or consciousness/alive? Is it permanent or impermanent? If the Devi is separate from Akaal Purakh and you consider her conscious and permanent then firmly understand the following: You are trying to strike down the number 1 (Ik) in front of Oankaar and fallen from Sikhi. The Devi is not separate from Akaal Purakh, it is just a name for Vaheguru’s Power. To know it as a ‘Devi’ separate from Akaal Purakh is to be in a state of major ignorance and stupid.
-
If the Devi is considered inanimate/not conscious and impermanent, even then, she is not worshipped in the Sikh Dharam. The principle is as follows: any type of worshipping of the Devi is not worthy in the Sikh Dharam.
-
Beloved Sikh Brothers! In our Dharam, the Devi’s are: Bibi Nanaki, Bibi Amro, Bibi Bhani, Bibi Veero, Mata Sahib [Devan], Mai Bhaago, among other notable holy women. You should read their life stories, remember their acts of kindness, walk upon their footprints that they left behind and teach your daughters to have the same type of qualities that they showed us... From which, the human lifeform is fulfilled, we become worthy of calling ourselves the great children of our worship-worthy father Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and we get referred to as one of the reformers of our country.
-
Besides these goddesses, there is another separate Devi which Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji have blessed us with. Without this Devi, you would also be considered fallen from the faith... in the same way a Hindu is considered fallen from their faith if they do not have the Janeyoo. The spread of this Devi caused injustices to be pushed away and even now, the armies adorn this as proudly as jewellery. That Devi is described as so:
ਨਮੋ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗੌਤੀ ਬਢੈਲੀ ਸਰੋਹੀ ॥
Namo Sree Bhagauthee, Badtailee Sarohee
Revering/Bowing to the Sharp Sarohee/type of Sword
Karae Aek Thae Dhvai Subhat Haathh Sohee
Turning One into two, the glorious in the warrior’s hand......
Jo-oo Myaan Thae Beer Tho Ko Sarrak-ai
When the warrior takes you out of the sheath/scabbard, it makes such sound
Pralai Kaal Kae Si[n]dhh Bak-ai Karrak-ai
As when the time of the world ending/armageddon and the oceans flood
Dhhasai Khaeth Mai[n] Haathh Lai Thoh[i] Soorae
The Warriors wield you in hand and thrust you in the battlefield
Bhirai Saamuhai Sidhh Saava[n]th Soorae
Fighting against a warrior who is proven to be courageous
(Bhagauthee Sthothar)

Beloved brothers! By turning your backs to the Sikh Devi’s and spending money offering to the imagined blood-drinking Devi... what if you were to take that same money and had spent it in developing the welfare of our daughters then we would see goddesses in every home and the Sikh community would shine locally and internationally - like the sun. Our future generations would praise us and they would be thankful and successful.
-
There is still time. If we want the success of our community and our country then we should open the greatest of schools (from which our community’s lifestyle spreads) where Religious, strong, glorious goddesses will be born. From which your good quality children will be able to turn this age of darkness into the age of enlightenment through the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji Maharaj.

This is one of the most longest sections. The following sections will be significantly shorter. If you wish to read further about the topic of Devi then please read Bhai Veer Singh Ji's Devi Poojan Parrthaal.
