The Earth's Oceans are so deep we haven't been able to explore them completely. Vaheguru is present in these depths. Also in whichever form water takes (vapour, ice, etc) ... and in the water of other worlds!

ਮਧੁਭਾਰ ਛੰਦ ॥ ਤ੍ਵਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
Madhhubhaar Chha[n]dh; TwaPrasaadh[i]
Name of Chhand; [With] Your Kirpaa

ਮੁਨਿ ਮਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ¹ ॥ ਗੁਨ ਗਨ ਮੁਦਾਮ ॥
Mun[i] Man[i] Pranaam; Gun Gan Mudhaam
[The One] who is revered to/bowed down to by Muni’s (Great Souls) [Sages];
All of [Your] Qualities always remain [present]
¹ or, bow down/revere the minds of the Muni’s/Sages (who always sing of Your Qualities)
ਅਰਿ ਬਰ ਅਗੰਜ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਨਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੰਜ ॥੧੬੧॥
Ar[i] Bar Aga[n]j; Har[i] nar Prabha[n]j
(You) cannot be destroyed by even the greatest of enemies
(Those [Enemies]) [You] destroy in forms [like] Narsingh

ਅਨਗਨ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ॥ ਮੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਸਲਾਮ² ॥
An Gan Pranaam; Mun Man Salaam
Namaskaar/Reverence/Bow Down to You countless times;
In the minds of the Muni’s/Sages, You always remain [present]
² or all of the Muni’s/Sages Namaskaar/Bow Down/Revere You
ਹਰਿ ਨਰ ਅਖੰਡ ॥ ਬਰ ਨਰ ਅਮੰਡ³ ॥੧੬੨॥
Har[i] nar Akha[n]d’ Bar nar Ama[n]d
(You are) Shiv, Vishnu (but) [You are] the Unbreakable Form [of Destruction and Sustenance; Shiv and Vishnu in form are subject to death]  
³ Shiv Vishnu Brahma don’t consistently remain [subject to death] and they are appointed by You... yet You are Unbreakable, Unappointed... and all of these three powers (creation, sustenance, destruction) reside within You

ਅਨੁਭਵ ਅਨਾਸ ॥ ਮੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ॥
Anubhav Anaas; Mun[i] Man Prakaas
(You are) the Form of Giaan/Spiritual Wisdom (and) [You are] free from being destroyed; You radiate in/enlighten the minds of the Muni’s/Sages
ਗੁਨ ਗਨ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ¹ ॥ ਜਲ ਥਲ ਮੁਦਾਮ ॥੧੬੩॥
Gun Gan Pranaam; Jal Thhal Mudhaam
Namaskaar/Bow down/revere to [You, who is the] Form of All of the Qualities
[You] are always present in the water and in the earth
¹ or, the Slaves of the Virtuous [beings] Namaskaar/bow down/revere [You]

ਅਨਛਿੱਜ ਅੰਗ² ॥ ਆਸਨ ਅਭੰਗ ॥
Anchhij A[n]g; Aasan Abha[n]g
[The One whose] Body does not break
[The One whose] Place is not subject to breaking
² Swaroop/Form
ਉਪਮਾ ਅਪਾਰ ॥ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਉਦਾਰ³ ॥੧੬੪॥
Oupmaa Apaar; Gath[i] Mith[i] Oudhaar
[The One whose] Praises are without a limit
[The One whose] Giaan/spiritual wisdom and Maryada/tradition is without an end
³ Gath[i] = count, style, reach
Mithee = measurement or Maryada... both are endless
Meaning, Your Greatness is far from counting or measuring

ਜਲ ਥਲ ਅਮੰਡ¹ ॥ ਦਿਸ ਵਿਸ² ਅਭੰਡ ॥
Jal Thhal Amha[n]d; Dhis Vis Abha[n]d
[The One] present in the water and in the earth;
[The One who is] One Coloured in every direction
¹ Aa+Ma[n]d = With Particular Glory;
or , A+ma[n]d = who cannot be torn in to pieces, always secure,
this word ma[n]d is from sanskrit... arth is based its use in hindi poetry
² Free from loss and Concentrated in One/Gathered into One (Ik Rass); meaning, free from slander/insult;
ਜਲ ਥਲ ਮਹੰਤ³ ॥ ਦਿਸ ਵਿਸ ਬਿਅੰਤ ॥੧੬੫॥
Jal Thhal Maha[n]th; Dhis Vis Bia[n]th
[The One who is] the Greatest in the water and in the land;
[The One who is] the without support in all places and shores
³ Mahath from Maha[n]th = Vadaa/Great; Highest, Worthy of Worship

ਅਨੁਭਵ ਅਨਾਸ ॥ ਧ੍ਰਿਤ ਧਰ ਧੁਰਾਸ⁴ ॥
Anubhav Anaas; Dhhrith Dhhar Dhhuraas
[The One with the] evident or self-existent form and free from destruction;
[The One who] takes on the form of the earth and is the axle-like support [supports the moving wheel yet stays stable and centred]
⁴ [You] are the 4 Directions; Outhar/North, DhakhaN/South, Poorab/East, Pachham/West, The subdirections between two directions = oupdhisha (these are also 4 = northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast)
ਆਜਾਨ ਬਾਹੁ⁵ ॥ ਏਕੈ ਸਦਾਹੁ ॥੧੬੬॥
Aajaan Baah[u]; Aekai Sadhaah[u]
[The One] who takes on the form of Hukam/Command/Will
[The One] who is always/consistently just One [never two]
⁵ Dhhrithdhhar = The One with Patience; Dhhuraas = The Support from the Divine Source; Dhhury+Aashy= The One with Higher Aashy[Support]

ਓਅੰਕਾਰ ਆਦਿ ॥ ਕਥਨੀ ਅਨਾਦਿ¹ ॥
Oa[ng]kaar Aadh[i]; Kathhanee Anaadh[i]
[The One] who said Oa[ng]kaar and began the Universe, They are without a beginning Themself meaning... who always existed
¹ Arabic, Eizan= Hukam; a) Sanskrit = Aajan+Baah = the Encourager of the Angels/Devtay/Deities; b) Aajaan[u] Baah[u] = Who has arms which reach upto the knees
ਖਲ ਖੰਡ ਖਿਆਲ² ॥ ਗੁਰ ਬਰ ਅਕਾਲ ॥੧੬੭॥
Khal Kha[n]d Khiaal; Gur Bar Akaal
[The One] who can destroy enemies just with thoughts
The Shiromani/Highest Guru is Akaal Purakh
² or, Oa[ng]kaar Anaadh[i] Kathanee Anaadh[i] = [The One] who is without a beginning and the form of Oangkaar, (from discussing Oangkaar, we understand that [Vaheguru is]) known as the Form of the Origin of Creation

ਘਰ ਘਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ॥ ਚਿਤ ਚਰਨ³ ਨਾਮ⁴ ॥
Ghar Ghar[i] Pranaam; Chith Charan Naam
[The One] who is Namaskaar/bowed down to/revered in each house;
[The One whose] Feet reside in the Chit/Mind/Memory as Naam
³ From whom we focus on causing our enemies to be broken into pieces [destroyed]
⁴ ‘Chith Vich Charan’ meaning to have focus on Our Goal
ਅਨਛਿਜ ਗਾਤ ॥ ਆਜਿਜ ਨ ਬਾਤ⁵ ॥੧੬੮॥
Anchhij Gaath; Aajij naa Baath
[The One] whose personality is not breakable;
[The One] (whose) BaaNee/Speech/Words are Powerful
⁵ Arabic, Aajiz, without strength; naa Aajiz = Powerful; Baath meaning BaaNee or oupdesh/teaching

ਅਨਝੰਝ¹ ਗਾਤ ॥ ਅਨਰੰਜ² ਬਾਤ ॥
Anjha[n]j Gaath; Anra[n]j Baath
[The One] whose body is Gathered/Concentrated in Oneness (Ik-ras);
[The One whose] free from angry speech
¹ Hindi, Jha[n]jh = anger, rage, frightened, trembling
² Farsi, Ra[n]j = pain, anger
ਅਨਟੁਟ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥ ਅਨਠਟ ਅਪਾਰ³ ॥੧੬੯॥
Antut Bha[n]daar; Anttat Apaar
[The One] (whose) Treasury is Unbreakable;
[The One] who is not appointed and free from being crossed/reached
³ “Thhaapiaa n Jaae[i] Keethaa n Hoe[i]

ਆਡੀਠ ਧਰਮ⁴ ॥ ਅਤਿ ਢੀਠ ਕਰਮ⁵ ॥
Aadeett Dhharam; Ath[i] Tdeett Karam
[The One] (whose) Dharmic vision/view/perspective does not have a goal;
[The One] (whose) Karam’s/Actions are full of conviction
⁴ Whose Dharam that no one can see/know
⁵ There is no foresight, honour-code, etc which can make Vaheguru waver from Their Way
ਅਣਬ੍ਰਣ⁶ ਅਨੰਤ ॥ ਦਾਤਾ ਮਹੰਤ ॥੧੭੦॥
ANbraN Ana[n]th; Dhaathaa Maha[n]th
(You are) without a beginning and without an end;
(You are) the Giver/Donor and are Great/Worshipped
⁶ Sometimes Paath is written as ‘AN BraN’ but this is not shudh/pure [proper]’
AN BaN = Who cannot be made; Always existed so becomes known as without beginning


ਹਰਿਬੋਲਮਨਾ ਛੰਦ ॥ ਤ੍ਵਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
Har[i]bolmanaa Chha[n]dh; Twaprasaadh[i]
Name of Chhand; WIth Your Kirpaa
ਕਰੁਣਾਲਯ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਅਰਿ ਘਾਲਯ¹ ਹੈਂ ॥
KaruNaalai Hai[n]; Ar[i] Ghaalai Hai[n]
(As a Sanctuary) [You] are the Home of Compassion/Mercy;
(For The) enemy (You) are the Destroyer
¹ If the Paath is accepted as Arghaaly then Argh+Aaly = You are The Home of Worship
ਖਲ ਖੰਡਨ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਮਹਿ ਮੰਡਨ ਹੈਂ² ॥੧੭੧॥
Khal Kha[n]dan Hai[n]; Mah[i] Ma[n]dan Hai[n]
[You are] The Destroyer of the Ignorant and the One who created this Earth
² or, the Form of the Beautiful Arrangement of this earth;

ਜਗਤੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੈਂ ॥
Jagathaeswar Hai[n]; Paramaeswar Hai[n]
[You are] the Master of the World;
[You are] the Greatest God (among all Gods)
ਕਲਿ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈਂ³ ॥ ਸਰਬ ਉਬਾਰਨ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੭੨॥
Kal[i] Kaaran Hai[n]; Sarab Oubaaran Hai[n]
[You are] the Cause of Beauty;
[You are] the One who saves/carries across
³ Kal[i] = Kalhaa, Kaljug;
Meaning the Cause of Kalyug and the One protects us from it;
Like the Sun causes darkness, rain, storms and yet is of unique season[weather/temperature] Itself

ਧ੍ਰਿਤ¹ ਕੇ ਧਰਨ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਜਗ ਕੇ ਕਰਨ ਹੈਂ ॥
Dhhrith Kae Dhharan Hai[n]; Jag Kae Karan Hai[n]
[You are] the One who takes on the Form of the Earth;
[You are] the Developer/Creator of this Universe
¹ or, Patience
ਮਨ ਮਾਨਿਯ² ਹੈਂ ॥ ਜਗ ਜਾਨਿਯ³ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੭੩॥
Man Maaniai Hai[n]; Jag Jaaniai Hai[n]
[You are] the One who recognizes the [True Nature of the Mind]
[You are] worth knowing in this world
² Maan = measurement, meaning ability to recognize or the One worth following or deserving respect within the mind
³ or the One who knows the World

ਸਰਬੰ ਭਰ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਸਰਬੰ ਕਰ ਹੈਂ ॥
Sarab[n]g Bhar Hai[n]; Sarab[ng] Kar Hai[n]
[You are] the One who nourishes/raises everyone;
[You are] the One who arranged everything
ਸਰਬ ਪਾਸਿਯ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਸਰਬ ਨਾਸਿਯ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੭੪॥
Sarab Paasiai Hai[n]; Sarab naasiai Hai[n]
[You are] the One who pervades closest/nearest to everyone;
[You are] the One who destroys everyone

ਕਰੁਣਾਕਰ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਬਿਸ੍ਵੰਭਰ ਹੈਂ ॥
KaruNaakar Hai[n]; Biswa[m]bhar Hai[n]
[You are] the Source of Kirpaa;
[You are] Nourisher of the Universe
ਸਰਬੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਜਗਤੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੭੫॥
Sarabaeswar Hai[n]; Jagathaeswar Hai[n]
[You are] the Master of All;
[You are] the Master of the World

ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡਸ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਖਲ ਖੰਡਸ ਹੈਂ ॥
Brahma[n]das Hai[n]; Khal Kha[n]das Hai[n]
[You are] who takes the Form of the Universe;
[You are] the Destroyer of Enemies
ਪਰ ਤੇ ਪਰ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਕਰੁਣਾਕਰ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੭੬॥
Par Thae Par Hai[n]; KaruNaakar Hai[n]
[You are] Furthest from the furthest;
[You are] the Source of Mercy/Compassion

ਅਜਪਾ¹ ਜਪ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਅਥਪਾ ਥਪ ਹੈਂ ॥
Ajapaa Jap Hai[n]; Athhapaa Thhap Hai[n]
[You are] the Knower of the Unknowable;
[You are] the Appointer of the Unappointable
¹ Gayap = Knowing; Ajapaa = The Unknowable;
a) Ajapaa Jaap means that which is the repetition without the movement of the tongue/lips; that who is realized through this type of Jap
ਅਕ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ² ॥੧੭੭॥
Akrithaa Krith Hai[n]; Amrithaa Mrith Hai[n]
[You are] the Doer of the Impossible;
[You are] the Destroyer of the Immortal
² or, Due to Vaheguru’s Force, the Power of Immortality is placed within Amrit

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ³ ॥
A[n]mrithaa Mrith Hai[n]; KaruNaa Krith Hai[n];
[You are] the Amrit of Amrit;
[You are] the Form of Mercy/Compassion
³ KaruNaa+Aakrith = Form of Compassion/Mercy
ਅਕ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ⁴ ॥ ਧਰਣੀ ਧ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੭੮॥
Akrithaa Krith Hai[n]; DhharNee Dhhrith Hai[n]
[You are] the Form of that which has not been made;
[You are] the One who takes on the Form of the Earth
⁴ Akrithaa+Aakrith= The Form which was not created/developed

ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੈਂ¹ ॥ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੈਂ ॥
Amithaeswar Hai[n]; Paramaeswar Hai[n]
[You are] the Master of Amrit;
[You are] the Great[est] Master
¹ Paath is also Amitaeswar;
Meaning the One who has Immeasurable Greatness
ਅਕ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ² ॥ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੭੯॥
Akrithaa Krith Hai[n]; Amrithaa Mrith Hai[n]
[You are] the Form of that which has not been made;
[You are] the Amrit of even Amrit
² No one created/developed Vaheguru

ਅਜਬਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ ॥
Ajabaa Krith Hai[n]; Amrithaa Mrith Hai[n]
[You are] the One with the Form of Wonder;
[You are] the Amrit of even Amrit
ਨਰ ਨਾਇਕ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਖਲ ਘਾਇਕ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੮੦॥
nar naaeik Hai[n]; Khal Ghaaeik Hai[n]
[You are] the Master of All Men/Humans;
[You are] the Destroyer of enemies

ਬਿਸ੍ਵੰਭਰ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਕਰੁਣਾਲਯ ਹੈਂ ॥
Biswa[m]bhar Hai[n]; KaruNaalai Hai[n]
[You are] The Nourisher/Carer of the Universe;
[You are] the Home of Compassion/Mercy
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਨਾਇਕ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਸਰਬ ਪਾਇਕ ਹੈਂ¹॥੧੮੧॥
Nrip naaeik Hai[n]; Sarab Paaeik Hai[n]
[You are] the Master of even Kings;
[You are] the One who every servant/slave belongs to
¹ or, the Protector of All; Pa = Protect

ਭਵ ਭੰਜਨ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਅਰਿ ਗੰਜਨ ਹੈਂ ॥
Bhav Bha[n]jan Hai[n]; Ar[i] Ga[n]jan Hai[n]
[You are] the Destroyer of Fear;
[You are] the Destroyer of Enemies
ਰਿਪੁ ਤਾਪਨ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪਨ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੮੨॥
Rip[u] Thaapan Hai[n]; Jap[u] Jaapan Hai[n]
[You are] the One who causes the enemies to suffer;
[You are] the One who causes the Chanting of Jap

ਅਕਲੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ¹ ॥ ਸਰਬਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈਂ ॥
Akal[n]g Krith Hai[n]; Sarabaa Krith Hai[n]
[You are] the One who developed the Intellect/Budhhee;
[You are] the One who developed everyone/everything
¹ or, the Form free of Kalaa/Art/Skill
ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰ ਹੈਂ² ॥ ਹਰਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਹੈਂ³ ॥੧੮੩॥
Karthaa Kar Hai[n]; Harthaa Har[i] Hai[n]
[You are] The Doer/Creator of [known] doers/creators;
[You are] the Destroyer of the [known] destroyers
² meaning those like Brahma
³ meaning those like Shiv

ਪਰਮਾਤਮ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਸਰਬ ਆਤਮ ਹੈਂ⁴ ॥
Paramaatham Hai[n]; Sarab Aatham Hai[n]
[You are] the Form of Brahm;
[You are] the Aatma of All
⁴ meaning; the Self of All Selves
ਆਤਮ ਬਸ ਹੈਂ⁵ ॥ ਜਸ ਕੇ ਜਸ ਹੈਂ⁶ ॥੧੮੪॥
Aatham Bas Hai[n]; Jas Kae Jas Hai[n]
[You are] under the Control of Your Self;
[You are] the Praise of praises
⁵ meaning, under no one’s control; independent; or, only the Aatma Saroop
⁶ or, The Way Vaheguru is, there is no one like this;
