What does the human see at least once in their life? A death of a loved one or a death of a stranger. As cruel as it might be, sometimes they may see a dismembered body. Guru Sahib are preparing Their Khalsa for war and these scenes can be scary if unprepared. By mentioning the head and body separate... Guru Sahib are making us imagine this gory sight. From this imagery, one can prepare themselves for a war where this may happen. This will reduce the trauma of battle and allow the Khalsa to continue to fight through the scenes which are often forgot about in the glory of battle.

Following the Shaheedi of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, there were two gurdwaras established with the name Sees Ganj. One in Delhi and one in Sri Anandpur Sahib. The Gurdwara Sahib in Delhi marks the place where Guru Sahib attained Shaheedi through Beheading. The Gurdwara Sahib in Sri Anandpur Sahib is where Guru Sahib’s Holy Head was cremated after being brought to Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji by Bhai Jaithaa Ji (Bhai Jeevan Singh) from Delhi.

Vaheguru Ji - You are both the Breath of the Breathing and the Breathing Beings Themselves!

Dhan Dhan Guru Amardas Sahib Ji Maharaj teach about the Vedas in our nitnem Bani - Sri Anand Sahib:
ਵੇਦਾ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਤਮੁ ਸੋ ਸੁਣਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਫਿਰਹਿ ਜਿਉ ਬੇਤਾਲਿਆ ॥
Vaedhaa Mah[i] naam[u] Utham[u] So SuNah[i] naahee Phirah[i] Jio[u] Baethaaliaa
Within the Vedas, the Name of Vaheguru is the Highest but the people don’t listen to this and so, wander around in their dark ignorance.
(Raag Ramkalee, Ang 919)
Guru Maharaj guide a Sikhs’ eyes in the world of spirituality and so that which causes us to remember Vaheguru is beautiful.

How do we perceive different elements in the world, including the pantheon and scholars of South Asia? There are many ancient Saadhus which are referred to as Rishi-Muni’s/sages. They are known masters of the Vedas. The Vedas are said to be ever-existing and it wasn’t till Veda Vyas Ji categorized the Vedas that they came into physical manifestation. The one who brought the Vedas into existence is said to be Brahma Ji. Brahma Ji is the personification of Akaal Purakh Vaheguru’s Power of creation and knowledge. Brahma Ji is said to taken on many forms to pass down the divine knowledge.
Aekaa Maaee Jugath[i] Viaa-aee Thin[i] Chaelae ParvaaN[u]
The One Maya-Shakti when wielded by Akaal Purakh bears 3 children (3 main powers/aspects of the Origin Power Maya)
Ik[u] Sa[n]saaree Ik[u] Bha[n]daaree Ik[u] Laa-ae Dhee-BaaN
One who creates (personified as Brahma), One who sustains (personified as Vishnu), One who destroys/wraps up (personified as Shiv)
(Sri Japji Sahib)
In Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Brahma Avatar, Maharaj write that Brahma Ji took on many avatars including Valmiki Ji who wrote the Ramayana, Kashyapa Muni Ji is said to have written many Vedic verses, Kalidaas Ji is said to have written the lineage of Sri Raghu (Ancestor of Sri Ram Chandra Ji)
Ragh[u] Kaabi[i] Keen Sudhhaar[i]
Fluently writing the lineage of Sri Raghu
Kar[i] Kaalidhaas Vathaar
This was done by the Avatar of Brahma: Kalidaas Ji.
Shukra-Acharya Ji is said to be the Preceptor/Guru of the Demons. Consistently, those who are associated with spiritual literature and wisdom are attached to this trait. Here, even Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji give Their Sikhs all of this Supreme Spiritual Knowledge and then further give Guruship to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. No matter how we may perceive Gurbani and all of these previous spiritual wisdom-giving figures, they are all manifestations of Vaheguru Ji’s Powers.
Brahma-adhik Sanka-adhik Chaahai
Brahma and those comparably like him, Brahma’s wise and knowledgeable children (Sanak and 3 other brothers) and those alikened to them... they all desire Vaheguru
(Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji, Ang 203)
If one sees Vaheguru Ji through and throughout all of creation, then creation and knowledge are all blessings of Vaheguru Ji. If someone sees Vaheguru Ji as separate from creation, then Brahma—and the like—are simply servants of Vaheguru. However one might perceive, it is all Vaheguru and nothing but Vaheguru.
