Bhai Kahn Singh write poetry in devotion to Guru Sahib while stating the objective of this book:

ਕਬਿੱਤ । Ka-bith:
ਮਾਨੈ ਨਾਹਿ ਵੇਦ ਭੇਦ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਤਿ ਪੁਰਾਨਨ ਕੇ,
Maanai naah[i] Vaedh Bhaed, Simrith Puraanan Kae,
Don’t follow the Vedas nor the Simritees and Puraan’s
ਪੂਜਤ ਨ ਭੈਰੋਂ ਭੂਤ ਗਿਰਿਜਾ ਗਣਿੰਦੂ ਹੈ ।
Poojath na Bhairo[n] Bhooth, Girjijaa GaNi[n]dhoo Hai
We don’t worship Bhairon (Form of Shivji), nor ghosts, Girijaa (Himalayan goddess, form of Parvathee) nor Ganaesh
ਤਿਥਿ, ਵਾਰ, ਸ਼ਕੁਨ, ਮੁਹੂਰਤ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਕਛੁ,
Thithh[i], Vaar, Shakun, Muhoorath na Jaanai Kachh[u]
We don’t recognize lunar days, weeks, auspicious times/dates.
ਰਾਹੁ, ਕੇਤੁ, ਸ਼ਨੀ, ਸ਼ੁਕਰ, ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ, ਦਿਨਿੰਦੂ  ਹੈ
Raah[u], Kaeth[u], Shanee, Shukr, Cha[n]dhrmaa, Dhini[n]dhoo Hai
Nor Raahoo Kaethoo (Swar bhanu, demon’s two parts which need to be appeased during eclipses), (Shanee) Saturn, nor Friday worship of Lakshmi (Shukar), (Chandhramaa) Moon worship, (Dhinindhoo) Sun worship
ਜਾਤਿ, ਪਾਤਿ, ਮੰਤ੍ਰ , ਜੰਤ੍ਰ, ਤੰਤ੍ਰ , ਵ੍ਰਤ, ਸ਼੍ਰਾਧ, ਹੋਮ
Jaath[i], Paath[i], Ma[n]thr, Ja[n]thr, Tha[n]thr, Vrath, Shraap, Hom
Nor Caste, Lineage, Class (classification based difference), not Mantars, Yanthrs, Tantras, Fasting, Curses, Fire Sacrifices
ਸੰਧ੍ਯਾ ਸੂਤਕਾਦਿ ਕੋ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਹਾਸੀ ਨਹਿ ਬਿੰਦੂ ਹੈ ।
Sa[n]dhhyaa Soothk-aadh[i] Ko, Vishvaasee nah[i] Bi[n]dhoo Hai Sandhya Vandanam, Purity times and places, we don’t have faith in these even a little bit
ਦਸਮੇਸ਼ ਕੋ ਸੁਪੂਤ ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸਾ ਹੈ ਭਿੰਨ ਪੰਥ
Dhasmaesh Ko Supooth, Khaalisaa Hai Bhi[n]n Pa[n]thh
The Children of the Tenth Master (Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji):

ਮਹਾਂ ਹੈ ਅਗ੍ਯਾਨੀ, ਜੋਊ ਯਾਂਕੋ ਕਹੈ – ‘ਹਿੰਦੂ ਹੈ’।
Mahaa[n] Hai Agyaanee, Jo-oo Yaa[n]ko Kahai - ‘Hi[n]dhoo Hai’ The Sikh is greatly ignorant who calls themselves a Hindu.

ਕਬਿੱਤ - Ka-bith:
ਮਾਨਤ ਹੈ ਏਕ ਕੋ ਅਨਾਦੀ ਔ ਅਨੰਤ ਨਿਤਯ,
Maanath Hai Aek Ko Anaadhee Au Ana[n]th nithya
We believe in the One who is without a beginning and is always without and end
ਤਿਸਹੀ ਤੇ ਜਾਨਤ ਹੈ ਸਰਬ ਪਸਾਰੋ ਹੈ ।
This-hee Thae Jaanath Hai, Sarab Pasaaro Hai
This is who believe is the [cause and existence] of the entire expanse of existence
ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਕੀ ਉਪਾਸ਼ਨਾ ਨ ਕਰੈ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਤਯਾਗ,
Krith Kee Upaashnaa na Karai Karthaar Thyaag
Don’t worship the creation while forsaking the One Doer/Creator
ਏਕ ਗੁਰੁ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਕੀਓ ਆਪਨੋ ਅਧਾਰੋ ਹੈ ।
Aek Gur[u] Gra[n]thh Kee-O, Aapano Adhhaaro Hai
The One Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is our only support
ਜਾਤਿ ਪਾਤਿ ਭੇਦ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਮਨ ਤੈੱ' ਮਿਟਾਯ ਕਰ
Jaath[i] Paath[i] Bhaed Bhram Man Thai Mitaay Kar
Removing the doubt of being different based on caste, class, etc - in the mind
ਸਭ ਸੇ ਸਹੋਦਰ ਸੋ ਕਰਤ ਪਯਾਰੋ ਹੈ ।
Sabh Sae Sahodhar So Karath Pyaaro Hai
Being the brother of everyone, so love is developed [in this way]
ਹਿਤਕਾਰੀ ਜਗ ਕੋ ਪੈ ਜਲ ਮਾਹਿ ਪੰਕਜ ਜਯੋਂ
Hithkaaree Jag Ko, Pai Jal Maah[i] Pa[n]kaj Jayo[n]
The well-wisher of the entire world, while remaining like a lotus upon the water
ਗੁਰੂਦੇਵ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੋ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਨਿਆਰੋ ਹੈ ।
Gur[u]dhaev Naanak Ko Khhaalsaa niaaro Hai
Guru Nanak Dev ji’s Khalsa is unique/distinct
