In the Khalsa warrior’s mind, these are not just names which are used to identify what weapon is what. To the warriors, these names are holy and they bring liberation. From a strictly spiritual sense, the enlightened Khalsa will see all of the weapons as the Mighty Power of Akaal Purakh Vaheguru. When they see a battle happen, they don’t see what the average person sees but the Khalsa see it as the Beautiful Hukam unfolding. They see Vaheguru everywhere. When they die a physical death, they see death manifested as a form of Vaheguru. The Khalsa - who fight a Dharam Yudhh (fighting for righteousness or a noble cause) - see their physical victory in a battle as maintaining righteousness in the world. Alternatively, if they physically die in battle then their death will be an honourable one which will be praised in this world and the afterlife because of their intent of going to battle. The weapons are of highest status for the Khalsa warriors in this physical world. They are an Isht-Dhaev (Worshipped Being). These are not new ideas as we have discussed these in depth in previous sections but they are all coming together as we conclude this commentary.

All of the weapons mentioned throughout this granth and even those weapons which are not mentioned - all of their names are holy. How are they holy? It depends on the intention we recite them with. If we recite to show others how much of a warrior we are then we are spiritually empty. If we recite from the intention that this is Gurbani coming from the Holy Mouth of our Father Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj then we will receive lots of blessings. If we recite this Gurbani then do a humble ardaas to Guru Maharaj to please allow us to be able to wield all of these shastars skillfully then we will be fruitful. If we see all of these Shasthars as the Shakthee/Power of Akaal Purakh-Vaheguru then it will count as worship. If we recite with love for Akaal Purakh Vaheguru, Guru Sahib, and/or Their Shasthars then we will be on the path of liberation.

May these weapons reside in my mind. May this worship remind me of Vaheguru and when I wish to carry out a task then I remember Your Name and Your Power before that task is carried out.

May we always remember Vaheguru from whom we receive my strength and success. It is through Guru Maharaj’s Kirpa that this commentary was complete. May I - as well as the readers of this commentary - always remember You and Your Name. Through the pleasant and tough times, may we seek the Sanctuary of Guru Maharaj until we never leave it and so, after death we never come back on this earth.

This commentary is incomplete. This Gurbani is most cherished among Nihang Singhs who have a rich oral tradition. There are a lot of arth/interpretation which they can add on that were not in this granth. Please do reach out so that it can be added to this granth and benefit others. Outside of this, we referenced a lot of modern day shastars but as technology progresses, this granth can be expanded upon in the future. I do not claim any ownership of this granth. All of the abilities to write this granth is from Akaal Purakh Vaheguru and a lot of the information here has simply been translated from the Khalsa Panth’s Khazaanaa (Treasury). This granth came from the Khalsa Panth’s Khazaanaa and is humbly being offered to the Guru Khalsa Panth as well. This slave hopes for your blessings and well-wishes. Please include me in your ardaasan if this granth has been helpful to you. Please overlook any mistakes as there are many or otherwise, reach out so that they can be corrected. If you need a printed copy of this then please do download the pdf and take it to a local print shop where it can be printed and added to your personal Khazaanaa. Do remember that this commentary contains a lot of Gurbani and so, please cover your heads, wash your hands, and keep on a clean cloth at a respectable location (this is for those who are printing a physical copy).
